Mercedes have finally opened up on what went wrong with Lewis Hamilton and why he’s leaving the squad. According to trackside engineering director Andrew Shovlin the team launching their “third bad car in a row” in the W15 had been “difficult” for Lewis Hamilton, given he is “born to win races”. And that lack of competitiveness is one of the reasons Hamilton is jumping ship the upcoming year.

Can’t understand the reason for Lewis’s self doubt during this period because it was glaringly obvious that the performance of the car was definitely below par. It’s not as if Russell fared any better with the car either. Then one gets an uneasy feeling about what occurred during 2023 Season when upgrades necessary for the car to remain competitive were not done. And if Max is such a phenomenal driver why would Toto be worried about his chances in a car in which Lewis and Russell have both had wins?

I really wish Lewis wasn't leaving Mercedes but what is done, is done. I kinda like Toto.

Lewis Hamilton still is a winner,and its Mercedes figured the car out. But will Ferrari ever figure it out?

Ferrari is the cimetry of f1 legends : Schumacher Alonso Vettel Le clerc Etc.. I hope Lewis will stay with Mercedes,

Lewis won so much because the car was so far ahead of the field. When the car was not as good Lewis could not adapt and seemed to add little to help development. Now he bolts when Merc is getting in the groove. Lewis will not last in the toxic environment of Ferrari. Merc babied Lewis, Ferrari will not.
