Xaivian faced a tough choice during the pandemic in 2020: stay inside like many kids or pursue his dream of becoming an NCAA basketball player. He chose the latter and overcame numerous obstacles, including strict restrictions and limited access to gyms, to fuel his passion for the game. A stroke of luck led Princeton to recruit him, but the transition to Ivy League basketball was challenging. Despite initial struggles, he honed his skills and excelled, becoming a leading player for Princeton and making history with his exceptional performance. This journey culminated in Xaivian declaring for the 2024 NBA draft, and realizing his lifelong dream.
