the main thing i would change is maybe make a version that has every character have their own health bar. other than that it's pretty epic. you definitely have to strain your eyes the first couple matches to see what's happening but i'm glad they embraced the guilty gear chaos instead of going for the standard KOF 3v3 mode

I find it so sad that there isn't a healthbar for each character. That would fix the "hoarding spot" really quick.

As a Slayer main, I am very happy with 3v3. A happy birthday scales even harder than a regular backshot combo. Poor defense options don't exist when you have Season 1 DBFZ assist calls, can't wait for the full release

More casual gamemodes is something fighting games severly lack most of the time, and 3v3 is a great way of doing it for strive and I'm very happy it exists. Of course, it could do with some polish and changes but overall I'm very happy it's there.

Honestly I preferred the way you could make team battles in Blazblue 6 person lobby with 3v3 KoF style.

They can fix the problem of people not switching out by making everyone have their own healthbar. Honestly it's very (?) pilled why they didn't do that because 1 life bar leads to the obvious dominant strategy of never switching. It's not just fun for the point character, it's also optimal if they're the strongest player...

I've been able to play exactly 1 3v3 match so far. We were 2 bedmans and a sol vs another sol, another bedman and a nago, all the repeated characters made it basically impossible to tell what anyone was doing at any given time. The connection was awful, it was 200 ms with the game constantly freezing up, and on the results screen 1 person went afk so we couldn't rematch. 10/10 gamemode can't wait to grind it all weekend, this is the kind of unhinged chaos I live for Edit: nvm this month's rivals 2 beta added good SA servers and orcane is absurdly fun, i'm sorry strive 3v3

9:05 well the way they could fix people "hoarding" the main player spot would be as simple as: not sharing one single health bar and instead each player having one... but clearly they don't wan't that so shrug; hopefully they make a version of this with no items and non shared health so that it can have a SLIGHTLY more serious/interesting experience

2 things. 1. You already CAN pick your team spot pre match. Going into search or create team, you can simply just change it from any to main or assist priority. Same screen as search id. 2. From what i’ve gathered and people have told me, swapping someone in is really really risky and dangerous. After experiencing me and my teammate getting hit by the same combo at the same time we kinda just agreed to avoid tagging each other in.
