What do you all think about the 3s?
-
Funny how this video popped up after I've been having issues with my quest 2
-
Pancake lenses are the best thing ever, so much clearer, basically no glare on the quest 3
-
Would be a dream if this offers display port connectivity as well, allowing native PCVR capabilities.
-
Really really cool to have mote choice and budget levels! This Quest will be an incredible given their characteristics for this price level!
-
I am buying q3. And thank you for the great video😊
-
I have a psvr2 and quest 3, but it is nice that games can all be made with same chipset
-
I might get this for my kids. My quest 2 is now for fitness games, MQ3 for everything else.
-
Great video VC, one correction is that 3S won’t have a depth sensor. The third holes are IR illuminators.
-
Got the Q3 and loving it! [:]~))
-
i will buy this for my first vr headset
-
I'm new to VR and at first I was thinking about getting the quest 2, but seeing this video made me change my mind, I will purchase the meta quest 3s at their launch
-
i would get the 3S if it had the pancake lenses
-
What accessories would you recommend for the Quest 3s to enhance the experience?
-
funny how this video popped up right after i bought the quest 3

It is technically correct that the Q3s has performance reserves compared to the Q3 with the same chip and the same clock rate because the resolution is lower, but this potential will for sure not been utilised by developers. It is more likely that Meta will deliberately reduce the clock rate of the chip to either increase the battery life or to reduce costs and weight by using a smaller battery.

As soon as it releases.. Im definitely in

I mainly play PCVR sim games, sim racing / flight sims and PCVR shooters. Looking at the standalone games, despite the "enhancement", most games still look cartoonish in my opinion which takes me out of the immersion that I am looking for. Don't get me wrong, I am sure those games are fun, but due to hardware limitations, there is not much you can push than the usual casual gameplay. I will wait this out, I recently just upgraded from a Quest 2 to a Pico 4 for my PCVR and for the same price as the Quest 2, but with pancake lenses combined with Virtual Desktop, it is far better that my Quest 2. For mixed reality, I did try them out but those also never piqued my interest and mostly feels like kiddie games. I do love the fact that Meta is focusing on casual gamers as this will drive the VR industry to further advancements with more users coming in vs the hardcore VR users who wanted advanced games to push VR to its limit. These advancements will definitely benefit everyone in the long run.

have seen used quest 3's on marketplace for 200 and sometimes lower. Sitting on shelfs collecting dust.
