- I'm sorry, I'm not available to do lines for videos anymore; I've gotten really busy :(

- I am NOT looking for animation or video help! I appreciate your kindness. I'm not in a place where I need to hire people, not even for free.

My most memorable moment with wheels was putting Hot Wheels cars on my feet and pretending I could rollerblade, it never ended well

My parents have this really great technique that got my brother and I biking super quickly. Rather than learning by doing it like how you'd regularly be doing it, you take the pedals off. This way, you propel yourself with your feet, and in the process learn the balancing part really quickly. Put them back on, and now that you've got balancing down, all you have to do is pedal. Which you'd already been doing with training wheels! Bada bing, bada boom, you can ride a bike.

I’m impressed that you can’t ride a bike but you can rollerblade, which is way harder than riding a bike for me
  • this made me happy. like super super happy. As someone who roller skated and played roller derby my entire childhood up until now I can confirm it's really hard on the roads but it gets easier.

Right there with you, Illy! I can drive but not ride a bike, truly a haunting world we live in.

YAAAY i'm glad you went back to rollerskating! I bought my first pair of rollerskates last year and it has honestly been the best thing ever :) Skating as fast as Lightning Mcqueen is a part of my personality now LOL
  • I learnt how to ride a bike around... 4th grade. On a small bike. When I got at 6th grade, and needed a bigger bike, I just couldn't manage! I couldn't turn and I kept crushing in the neighbour's hedge. I gave up, and actually rode a bike first time, in middle school. So happy I'm not alone in this 😅

I wanted to learn how to ride a bike, and my dad wanted to teach me, I kept falling off and crying and then he gave up 😂😂😂

My aunt tried helping ride a bike I cried when she didn’t even let go and I think that’s because I didn’t want to fall and perish but I learned how to ride a scooter first try it was easy and fun.

Kid logic: Hmm, Rollarskates kind of look like hot wheel cars, maybe I should try to ride on hot wheels! RIP, Kid “It’s freaking kid logic mom!”

I'm currently learning how to skateboard. There's a club at my private school, and when the weather is nice we'll all walk down to the skate park and hang out there until the rest of the after-school sports finish. Not everybody there goes to our school, and I honestly can't keep track of the kids from my school versus the ones from the local public school. I can't even count the times I've been chatting with somebody only to realize they don't go to my school, or been helped out by a total stranger. It's such a supportive community, and I love it.

5:33 yes you will, because I am going to tell you the secret to stopping on rollerblades. It’s as simple as turning the blades perpendicular to your direction of travel, either right or left is fine. But since the wheels are only meant to go forward not sideways, friction will build up which is exactly how the brakes work to stop your car: causing so much friction to slow and stop the car. Try that sometime. Also, try learning to ride a bike on a somewhat flat surface, this will help with finding your balance in the long run, and then move up to little hills and always avoid potholes.
