Thank you for your video because few people have made it on the quality of photo printing. this printer is mainly intended for work where the photo is little used. In my case I need to print photos occasionally but with an image quality close to the original. Have you tested the Canon GX6050, which seems to have slightly better marks than the ET-3850 on photo renderings? I have to decide quickly between the 2 but my choice is difficult (the balance leans on the Canon but the consumables are more expensive, the mobile application less good and does not print without borders). Thank you for your opinion.

great video - thanks for posting. I do have a question : do the bottles of ink included with the printer fill the reservoirs more than once...?

I have a 3850, but i just dont feel im getting that good quality as id expect colours seem dull, and blacks have a hue of blue also. Im at a loss! My prints also have "pizza wheel" lines.
  • Not sure if you can help me but I thought I'd see if you can give me some suggestions after watching your video. I just purchased the ET 3850 and completed the entire setup process. I chose the correct paper size and paper quality. I printed a basic document with a small picture header that I had on file. I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the print. The blacks are gray and the entire document is grainy. I notice the same thing when I scanned a document and even before I hit print the document looks distorted and grainy. There are no lines or separations in any of the images so I'm confident that the alignment for the heads is correct. Any suggestions before I take this thing back or I bought it.? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Someone written a review I think on amazon saying they can only do borderless print on standard quality, not best. I hope they were wrong. I need a printer for photos but with great lasting ink usage
  • @shadevrutaal

Thank you so much for these videos. I have a question if you don't mind. how fast this printer can print a letter size photo?
  • @ceceyangg
Im trying to print on cardstock, premium paper and sticker paper but the color is off and looks blurred and off. I try changing settings but theres barely any difference. Sometimes it comes out too blue too or faded. Any advice or suggestions. Also for scanning and copying, theres always black lines. Is it a cleaning issue?
