Who Truly Deserves Fairies In Fairly Oddparents?

Between Tootie and Chester they arguably deserved them more than Timmy. Especially with how we even got to see a reality where Chester had them, and then tootie did because of Timmys wish, both proving that point to a degree. Chloe didn't need them, she wasn't built up as poor, mistreated, or unfortunate to the point where I ever went "oh yeah that girl needs fairies." I could see moments where it made sense for Timmy, with the writing being poor in regards to his parents, swapping up randomly.

i think the idea of deserving fairy godparents are the kids who had bad parents. Despite chester is poor, his father is present in his life, he has good friends, and that´s why reimi has.

It still baffles me that they created Chloe when Tootie was right there.

If Trixie had a Fairy Godparent, I imagine it would be Wanda’s sister Blonda.

The fact that the girl with the worst babysitter as a sister got passed over fairy godparents to a girl who causes some mistakes but has a rather great life still boggles my mind. In all seriousness, as much as I like FOP, I'm A bit concerned as to what a lot of these kids life's will be like when they're older.

I don't think Trixie needs fairies; she needs a backbone, and to learn to just be herself. If she was true to herself, she would undoubtedly be a much happier person.

Honestly, Chester's life SUCKS but he was still happy which is why he didn't get them I believe, it's also kinda wholesome to know that it's implied Timmy makes his life happy enough to not deserve Godparents

Tootie's life is a literal hellhole so she deserves her own fairies. And as we all agree Chloe shouldn't get her own fairies in the first place.

The only reason why Tootie doesn't have fairies is that she would blab about them before she can be told she can't.

How the show makes a Mary sue that somehow needs fairy's more than tootie or chester is beyond me. I would say even Trixie's friend probably could use some to get out of the shadow of her

I think Veronica actually deserves them more than Trixie, because not only does she lack the public attention/adoration Trixie gets, she is forced to live directly under her shadow and has developed even greater insecurities. Trixie thinks her value is in what boys think of her, which isn’t good, but Veronica thinks her only value is in being near Trixie. She doesn’t see anything worth loving in herself, and no one sees her as more than a backup friend. It is quite strange how the show never defined a hard logic on what made someone deserving of fairies. If Timmy was allowed to get away with stopping time for 50 years, he could’ve just wished Tootie lost the ability to tell her secret, allowing her to have fairies. Really interested in the new spinoff!

Anyone with a traumatic childhood can likely relate to Tooti. She deserved them no question.

If Trixie deserves Godparents, surely Veronica does too. She wants to be something she's not, she probably just hangs out with the popular kids because her mom is friends with Trixies mom. She's clearly bullied and assaulted by her friends and other schoolmates. I would say she is more deserving of them than Trixie. I think she would just wish to be more popular though. Or to be a Trixie clone or something silly. So maybe not. With Tootie, she deserves them but like you said she cannot keep quiet about them even though she was told to.

Timmy had neglectful parents and was constantly around an abusive babysitter, so I'd still say he DESERVES them, Tootie LIVED with said abusive babysitter so she's a close second place, iirc Chester was just poor but still got along okay with his dad and seemed to be a happy kid, but he's still third place regardless.

Still baffling how basically these characters disappeared during the later seasons. They deserved to have their stories & backgrounds expanded on. But Nick had to go muck that up with all these new unnecessary characters everyone pretty much hated. And to be fair, if Tootie got fairies in season 10, it wouldn't matter if she could keep a secret 😂.

IMAGINE if Tootie took Chloe's place in the later seasons. Instead of a brand new little ms perfect, we have an already built up character with an established dynamic with Timmy (even a dynamic where they BOTH HAVE FAIRIES technically), and someone who, given the reasoning of there being a "fairy shortage" would make sense to pair up with him. Hell, they could've justified it with using her as a test run for this whole fairy share system! A god kid who needed fairies but just couldn't keep her mouth shut with a god kid who constantly hides his in plain sight and understands the importance of it. What could've been, I suppose
