  • Another thing i hate is how they're trying to tie the timelines together with black ops and modern warfare
  • @Mr_Envixon
The Information that Yuri Gave us in MW3 didn't even Help AT ALL This is Just Character Disrespect, I Feel like They could of Gave us a Mission with him but Hell Nah they didn't (Yes i commented Twice)
  • When they teased No Russian in MWII with it being in a plan some people speculated that Alex could replace Allen, but instead we got Samara which made it seem like ULF committed a terror attack against Russians. I was atleast hoping we would’ve played as a Konni member trying to well y’know, while speaking Arabic and/or English to make it seem believable. Or they could’ve made Makarov start a Civil War in Russia, yes it’s reusing CoD 4’s plot where Ultranationalist and Loyalist (Kamarov) as a plot device but it would’ve been realistic and in Line with 2019’s News Headlines as missions; Wagner attempted to overthrow Putin back in 2023. Another thing and I said this and you said it, Gaz should’ve been the one to be killed, while I love Gaz; Price was closest to Gaz due to 2019’s campaign. MWII was also inspired by movies like MW2 (2009), 2009 taking notes from Real Events (Afghanistan Invasion, game took place in 2016) and Movies (specifically Red Dawn). MWII took inspiration from Sicario which is a great movie, I would’ve preferred Valeria being the main antagonist while Hasan was Spec Ops antagonist, replacing Hasan with either Hadir or Al-Asad would’ve been appropriate (especially since Asad just gets forgotten even though he was a Pre order bonus for Vanguard). Personally I’d just make Asad the 2nd Antagonist or Atleast Iran declaring war on the US post MWII’s story would’ve been a realistic aftermath, since Zyani was a Quds Force Major and How in reality the US almost went to war with Iran after the Assassination of a General and a few Officers back in January 2020; if you remember that you’ll know. They could’ve made new villains, Valeria was a great addition, Graves doesn’t really count as even if 141 and Los Vaqueros found it they would’ve felt uncomfortable or atleast loose trust with Graves and Shadow Company; but that didn’t happen & we got a weird feeling about Shadow constantly being allies which is Great step to what they were in the original trilogy. Hadir could’ve made an excellent villain as he had the influence and insanity of the original Makarov, he doesn’t distinguish the enemy and race, he hates all Russians. However Makarov in the original trilogy wasn’t targeting anyone, only people who stand in his way of revenge against those who killed Zakeav. It would be cool if Shepherd in this trilogy was almost similar to his original incarnation of the character but in a realistic way. Shepherd wanting a medal on his chest by any means necessary, yes he would still have good intentions but act on it in illegally and off books operations.

What’s so fucking dumb about the new modern warfare is how they haven’t even brought the most memorable OG characters yet examples being Sgt Paul Jackson Lt Vasquez Sandman Grinch Truck Derek ‘Frost’ Westbrook Joseph Allen Pvt James Ramirez Sgt Foley Cpl Dunn and so much more
  • 1:45 friendly reminder, Gaz died in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Being said, you literally cannot kill off anyone from Task Force 141 because Price was the sole survivor of TF141 in the OG trilogy.
  • Me personally, I was never a fan of the super "high stakes" narrative. Like with Makarov and Perseus (although I think Perseus was done well in Cold War) Saving the world gets a little old, and honestly I find these types of villains to be boring. But it also really depends on the setting. Maybe we'd be better off with a more personal and smaller narrative for the MW series, where we can still have a villain, but perhaps their goals and personalities are a little less "Hollywood". And of course, a WW2 setting doesn't need a specific villain character. I think WW2 games are at their best when it just focuses on a squad or platoon vs the enemy at large. This approach is more realistic narratively, and less cringe in practice. That's why I think vanguards campaign is just silly. Personally, I think COD needs a campaign focused on the grunts, whether it be WW2, Vietnam, Gulf War, Iraq, whatever. I feel like COD has been so hyper focused on special forces that it's lost focus on "the little guys". Also, maybe we can get a game where we aren't just playing as the Americans or SAS? It's been a while since we've played as the USSR, or maybe even spice things up and give us a German perspective, WW2 or onward. Maybe just a more Euro-centric game in general would be cool, imo. I really enjoyed the Amsterdam and East/West Berlin sections of Cold War.
  • i like these new modern warfare but its true that we need new bad guy and new good guys
  • @rosaria8384
The 2019 reboot and even the 2022 sequel were honestly good attempts at creating something original. The 2019 one at least exerted effort in creating a world of its own, even though it had Al-Assad in the Spec Ops/WZ story. As for 2022, it also felt original at certain points especially with the El Sin Nombre story arc. Both games had that unique taste. The 2023 one, it's really a mess. I think the mess stems from how 2022's live service story lacks that substance that 2019 had, which gets worse with the campaign we got in 2023, which is pure nostalgia bait. They could have made No Russian powerful by actually doing something realistic rather than erasing the black box and stuff.
  • @langezzyt
original modern warfare much more dramatic than reboot, but they should remake not reboot
  • @Mr_Envixon
To be Honest Call of Duty Always has a Problem With Any Game they Make it's Either The Campaign or Multiplayer every Call of Duty has had Al Least One or More Problems, it can never be Perfect
  • @marianadera4625
I want to see Gary, Roach talk and see his character design
  • If you were making a new reboot of any of the call of duty games, modern warfare, black ops, ghost, advanced warfare, and infinite warfare. What will you change to make it better where it was so go you had to make a 2 or 3 for everybody or will you leave some of the games like the way they is now. It’ll be cool if you made a video about everybody would like to hear your opinion on these games.
  • @KynixYT
My only gripe is that they made Makarov a campaign antagonist instead of a warzone antagonist. Every single antagonist from the original series always came back as a warzone/post‐campaign narrative antagonist. MW × Warzone had us deal with the Zakheavs MWII × Raids had us deal with Hadir/Al‐Asad As for MWIII Makarov is seen in the campaign, i honestly think Nolan should've been the antagonist and Makarov continued to work behind the scenes. It just felt so unnatural seeing him in the campaign knowing the original villians have been so far, are warzone antagonists. Edit: I would like to add that this applies to Shepherd as well, after his betrayal he should've just been made into a warzone antagonist, hell should've been the antagonist for MWII's post‐campaign narrative that way the campaigns felt original and focused on new villians and never followed or tried follow in the steps of the OG series.
  • @kastovianHuman
since taylor kurosaki left the studio I have no more hope on modern warfare
  • @channel45853
I think after MW 3, a lot of faith was lost in Call of Duty, so it's good they are doing a black ops game because gamers aren't really in the mood for a call of duty that is not connected to the ones they like. I honestly just can't believe that the MW 3 story came out as it did. I haven't played it, but I have seen videos of it and it's weird that they thought that route could work. I loved the level design in MW 2019 and seeing the careful level design be thrown away was very suprising. Even the original MW 3, for the critiques thrown at it, wasn't this egregious. I wonder if MW 4 even has a chance to succeed or if they will just end the MW story in Warzone.
  • I wish there was a good ending in the mw3 2023 Kill makarov and let soap live at the end if this was a good alternative ending with soap alive
  • I think these franchises are better off as remakes than reboots because reboots today are so bad they messed up the story entirely (supposedly all of Black ops and Modern warfare are part of the same universe because of warzone). Remakes of the OGs would’ve killed it in gaming.
  • @t0d_d
cuz money from OGs and 12 yr old MW Reboot players
