It must have blurred the vision of the scorpion or blinded the scorpion when this happened. That would give the tarantula a big advantage.

I honestly thought the mantis was losing and was on it's back because of the hornets poison or something...but the mantis was using it as a two-pronged attack and only allowed the hornet to attack it's front. Pretty ingenious.
