I just keep wishing they made an open world game with a world like this.
-
Perhaps ulthos is as misterious, inhuman, filled with wild creatures and dangerous as....... AUSTRALIA
-
People asking for series about Robert's Rebellion, Dunk and Egg, Blackfyre Rebellion, The Dance of Dragons but no one asking for series about a character exploring the 14 seas and the rest of Known World
-
Nymeria and her travels seem like a fantastic centerpiece for a spinoff.
-
Better not let Cersei know about those Elephant killing apes. She might be upset
-
Really gives you perspective on how little the politics of Westeros really matters. The world's so much larger.
-
George went w bit mad when making this continent. Recon he just wanted it to be un touchable so people didn’t ask him to create anything there 😂

Sothoryos is currently one of the more interesting places I've read about in the world. Recently, I've also taken an interest in far eastern Essos. That area still remains unmapped, and who knows what civilizations or even empires (or, perhaps, dragons) might be there. And I still wonder what's west of Westeros.

grey worm gonna get the butterfly disease
-
" The Green Hell " Here in Brazil that was the nickname the first Portuguese explorers gave to the Amazon jungle. Many things about Sothoryos are very similar with the descriptions about South America during the colonization era. I wonder if G.G took from here his inspiration from Sothoryos.

The black stone, people with fish-like features, a toad god... I love how Martin filled many of the far outer reaches of his world with hommages to Lovecraft (or the shared fictional universe of the Cthulhu mythos in general)
-
I wish they made a mini series of a group that accidentally washed up on the shores of Sothoryos. Where they have to survive to get off or get rescued
-
Reading the World of Ice and Fire book made Sothoryos as intriguing as it was terrifying. I enjoyed this video on it. Thank you.
-
I need a movie of people just getting wrecked by the wonders of sothoryos
-
Out of all the places of Game of Thrones, the Summer Isles is the only place where I'd live to be honest.
-
Sothoryos is basically Skull Island.
-
Oh Missandei, you didn't tell Greyworm about the Butterfly disease of Naath did you.
-
The Summer Isles easily sounds like the best place to live in the Song of Ice and Fire universe. They live in a warm tropical paradise, they're civilized but can still defend themselves, they have a healthy celebatory attitude towards sex. Sounds much better than anywhere in Westeros.
-
I'd buy a book revolving around Sothoryos in a heartbeat.

And to think all this came out of a single human's head...
