I hear the Dothraki are absolutely SAVAGE in their Yelp reviews. "This city is FILTHY. It should be called CITY OF FILTH! GOTTEM, NERD." -Khal Danko.

brb sailing to thousand islands to get a bald green gf or die trying
  • I want to see Asshai by the shadowlands on the screen that would be amazing. The place sounds so dark and dangerous.

There needs to be a open world rpg of the world of game of thrones where you could go everywhere in the GOT world.
  • Daenerys couldve stayed there and built and iron throne of her own made of chains from slaves she freed from masters instead of going to westeros and getting herself killed in the hand of her nephew.
  • I would love it if HBO did a series on Essos where we get to see all these interesting locations/people and maybe even go to Southoryos as well.

The vastness of GRRM’s world can be taken advantage of with spinoff shows that happen in Essos. Huge potential, really. I just hope they use it in the future.
  • Fire & Blood revealed a new island chain far west of the Summer Islands - even west of Lonely Light's longitude. Three small uninhabited islands, the largest only a third the size of Dragonstone. The seas between them and other lands were filled with terrible storms (and possibly sea monsters), but the isles themselves were pleasant enough - albeit small. Plenty of clean water, edible fruits and nuts (previously unknown), wild pigs to hunt for food. There were some lizards the size of deer with poisonous bites, but they were pretty slow (think Komodo dragons from real life). There's a moratorium on wiki updates for them until December 20th, however. I don't know if you want to do a future short update video on the Farman expedition.
  • Damnnn,, Jora travelled that far from The North to Essos just to get himself out of friendzone!
  • Everyone focusing on Westeros when this massive continent with different species and diverse factions exists

the 1000 islands... "There arent a thousand, there arent even 200"
  • @rolfthewolf764
i bet if GOT started in essos, they would be talking more about westeros
  • @haesung2148
It' s just my thought. But the way westerossi ot essosi describe far east continent sounds to me more like they don't know much about that region. Like European people in middle age who said that there are dragons in Asia. I think it is possible that there are more great civilizations over the Asshai but they may just don't know about them thus it became some sort of myth.

The Ibbenese are much closer to the Neatherthalls. They did have large fore brows, more muscle and much larger noses.

I'm a new subscriber, just found the channel yesterday and binged. I really like the way you do these vids. Short and to the point, no clickbait titles, no "theories" that are really just bad fan fiction, just detail info that we probably missed or forgot. Well done.

Personally I'd rather Hbo do a series focusing on northern essos rather then a prequel to the events currently in westeros.
  • @filipisandre
honestly the thousand islands lore is very lovecraftian and i love it
  • @jackcutts6634
ALL OF THIS LORE!!!! I don't fucking know why anyone hasn't made an open world game of GoT that would be the biggest map on any game. It would sell so bloody well!
  • I always thought Mossovy must be their Fantasy version of Russia. With hardened, isolated woodsmen who are also skinchangers/wargs - loosely analogous to the First Men/Starks of Westeros - who fight off demons who enter from the Grey Waste to the east.
