Gabriella you did great! You got your daughter to safety and prevented the 95 year old women from getting a head injury and got her to safety. May God continue to bless you and your family.
  • I'll never understand why these shooters go after people who did nothing to them. If you have a beef with your abusive dad then off him and leave the rest of us alone.
  • Gabriella is an Angel and it hurts to hear her say she feels “guilty for putting her child in danger.” No, Gabriella, you took your child to a celebration of our country’s independence and some dark soul showed up to steal the light from the day. Bless you and your kids and family. My heart is sad for the fallen and for those who love them.
  • That lady is amazing not only saved her kids life but so many other kids and people too she deserves to be recognized. She protected an older lady kids they weren’t hers at the store.
  • When you´re afraid of going to a parade cause you or your family may be at risk ... How sad is that. My goodness what has the US turned into?

Good level-headed Mom, looking out for her kids and others.
  • Bless this woman being interviewed! She's a real hero!! Kept her child safe, helped as many folks as she could. I really appreciate this dear lady.
  • Gabriella, you are so strong! To move quick enough to save a 95 yr old from hitting her head on concrete AND ushering your daughter and others to safety inside a store (AND away from the windows) really shows a strong presence of mind and courage to prioritize others in the midst of all that hell raining down on you from above. God bless you Gabriella!
  • “My instinct as a mother was to protect my daughter, so I was using my body as a shield” God that made me tear up💔😖😭!!! Knowing you can possible get killed in front of your own daughter!! Lord bless her and her family.
  • Am sorry Gabriella and is not your fault you did good trying to help as much as you can.
  • I grew up in Modesto CA and every year we went to Graffiti Nights, where thousands of people cruising, parking, setting up their lawn chairs on the sidewalks, businesses shutting down for the night, everybody walking for miles and jumping in and out of all the nice cars cruising around with the tops off. Never once did I ever think someone would start shooting at us. I feel so sorry for kids today, they will never know that freedom. It's gone. RIP to those that died today. I pray for the families left behind and for the 16 wounded.
  • Oh dear sweet lady!! You were not wrong to take your daughter to the parade. You love her and want her to understand her great country. Please know many are praying for sleep for you tonight and all others impacted. You are a wonderful mom!
  • God bless this lady. I remember the simpler time that she recalled. Lice was the only pandemic. Glad her family is safe. And she gave a brave and informative interview.
  • God bless her and her family 🙏🏽 So very sad this is our reality in this day and time. Praying for everyone affected by this terrible situation.

  • Nothing to feel guilty about Mom, you did NOTHING WRONG.

🌹A mother turned into a hero saving that elderly lady and her child ❤️ ♥️ 💕 Respect
  • It's horrible that she feels guilt for taking her daughter to a parade, but honestly I would feel the exact same way. One person has to ruin it for the rest of us
