We used our 60,000 PSI waterjet to spin a Fidget Spinner, a YoYo, a Beyblade, and a titanium skateboard wheel.

You know those gearboxes that apparently take like a gazijamillion years to turn the last wheel one time? You guys should build one and see how much you can get the last gear to turn!

“It’s a toy, and they don’t use precision manufacturing” LEGO has entered the chat
  • What kind of a lame toy manufacturer doesn't use precision manufactured parts? It's like they haven't even considered someone might use a waterjet to spin it to supersonic speeds. Shameful oversight.
  • Idk how, but this dude turns using a waterjet into an absolute comedy.

I've never laughed so hard as when he has that sudden moment of realization @4:44 and says "I don't wanna hold it!"... while a fidget spinner moving at jet engine speeds violent rotates in his hand 😂🤣

Free idea for a video. Use the water jet to cut out a fidget spinner from different types of metal and see how fast they can spin before breaking apart

Machine a whistle into the titanium wheel and see how loud you can make it.
  • You got to get something custom milled with really good bearings fitted in the centre with a tight tolerance (thermal difference fixturing). Easily break that 100k rippums

*WE HAVE THE HIGHER GROUND! WE WIN! *Casually pulls out a 6000 psi water jet out of the pocket.

Technically, can't you get a hose from the waterjet and run explosive tests that way- away from the jet? IT's not the CNC head you want, it's the output of the high pressure pump. Surely you can rig up something cheap in a separate enclosure?

That sound from the titanium wheel is terrifying.
  • @Shademute
thank god its the new beyblades and not the old metal ones

I love the og CrazyRussianHacker quote "safety is number one priority" 😀 Love that Taras still makes videos after all these times.

I remember seeing a video of someone using a dremel to spin up a beyblade, and when they let it smack into another beyblade it immediately started bouncing all around the room at fucking mach 10 after hitting the camera.
