Hey man thanks for the video. Could you please answer a few questions really quick? Just bought a new tank and would like a algae carpet to grow, I been doing research and it says to keep phosphate levels low? But it seems to contradict because algae needs phosphate to grow?, also what about UV sterilizers? People say its necessary, but I read it kills the green water? Thanks mate

So I went to YouTube and searched; "How to kill green algae fast & easy" then I saw this video in the results and out of amusement I watched it through. Im trying to kill the green algae and I would have to assume youtube would rather have me grow them into big luscious green algae carpets! hilarious. I liked the video and I can see sone ways in which it could be beneficial opposed to what I had originally intended so with that being said, I'm going to find that video I was originally looking for. How to KILL green algae. :)

The only green algae I’m getting is spot algae 🥲 I have Oto catfish and I’m trying desperately to get more of any soft algae for them to eat thx for the video
