My dad always adored led zeppelin. He passed on his taste of music to me at a young age. Last Wednesday he passed away peacefully in his bed, surrounded by his family, and we played stairway to heaven. Miss you dad.

My sister was probably 15 when she bought the vinyl in the mid 70's and tragically passed away in 78'. My parents gave me her album and I love every song. Still listen to it on my record player.

This song was recorded in 1971, and it still sounds spectacular over 50 years later! The song just stands the test of time. An absolutely phenomenal recording by Led Zeppelin!!!

0:01 mystical intro 0:53 Classic Folk + Blues 4:18 Rock 5:34 legendary guitar solo 6:44 Hard Rock 7:45 And the sad part, the song slowly fades away. Except Opera, this classic has it all. Enjoy "Led Zeppelin" fellas! πŸ‘

This song will probably be played and beloved for centuries.
  • This is not a song, it`s an anthem of Rock, performed by the Gods of Rock. I fell in love with this in 1971, at the age of 15 and here I am, 53 years later still very much in love with it. It will outlive us all. When the last star goes out, the last sound in the Universe will be Robert Plant, singing those final few words.

I was a little kid when we were coming home from a renaissance fair in the evening. My parents played this in the car as I watched the pine trees go by. One of my favorite memories.
