Interesting how Venom stops saying "we" when he says, "I fucked up Spiderman." Almost like the peak of their insecurity is causing either the symbiote or Brock to get so angry that one of them takes over completely for a moment.

“WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?!” “A guy who needs a double?” “….FUCK IT, SURE.”

It's actually endearing in a way, since it's like Logan is seeing past the monstrous exterior and sees him as a regular guy with issues. Considering since he's a mutant he knows the feeling, even around other mutants at times

Venom: "We have suffered more pain than you could imagine." Wolverine: Has survived a nuclear bomb being dropped on him, has had to kill his love interest on multiple occasions, is nearly immortal hence he has watched many friends and family die, has served in every war known to man, has endured having his bones coated with adamantium a procedure that would kill lesser men from the pain alone, and has fought the Hulk on multiple occasions in which he describes getting hit by the Hulk as getting hit by a walking earthquake.

At this stage of Marvel comics, I'm pretty sure the bartender has a healing factor. Or maybe a Thor hammer.

I don’t know why, but the mental image of Venom in the MCU saying he fucked up spiderman makes my day

When Wolverine called Venom "Goo" I lost it. Straight up LEGENDARY.

I like how thebartender casually looks at venom, as if its something that regularly happens to a bar owner in the marvel world

I've admired Eddie (and venoms) growth as a character, from villain driven by single minded instincts, to starting to question their place in society being an anti hero vigilante, to being a father and protecting his son, to straight up saving the universe.

I like that Logan just felt like going to the bar in full Wolverine costume. And people around don't seem too bothered by this, so he must do it often enough that they're used to it.

You ain't fighting a boy pretending to be a man anymore, venom. Now you're fighting a man who's done and seen shit to last several lifetimes

How many times has Venom been talked to as a person, instead of a monster? When has someone just sat him down, like Logan did, and just help him see the big picture? It wasn’t the power of Friendship that saved the day, but pure badass.

This match-up is always up to the author to decide who wins it because both characters are extremely tanky, have healing factors, and very few weaknesses to exploit.

Wolverine saved the planet by humbling Venom and he probably doesn’t realize it.

I love how they just argue while fighting since they know they can't really hurt each other
