The two thing people often forget: -Spider-Man is a LOT stronger than he lets on. Like tossing cars casually strong. -Hulk is not just a rage monster. He is completely capable of the entire range of emotion, including compassion and loyalty.

This is how it should be. Spider-Man shouldn’t be stronger than hulk, BUT the fact that he could give him a good fight shouldn’t be ignored.

I don't know if many noticed but toward the end of the fight. Hulk legit just let Spidey vent. He stood there and took it. While he ranted about finding MJ. Fucking love the compassion that hulk showed

That ending was so great, I love seeing Hulk even in his most animalistic state have compassion for people.

I like how it's clear that Peter can't really keep up with Hulk in strength, but he's using everything else to his advantage to keep the big guy at bay and always have the maintain the advantage.

Hulk comes out of this looking pretty good. The instant empathy that cuts through the rage, the knowledge that sometimes the best thing he can do is let the other guy work through the thing locking them down emotionally. The complete lack of a grudge at being attacked and pained because he recognizes that it's coming from the other guy also being in pain. Yeah, Hulk comes out of this looking good.

The fact that Hulk went from a blind rage to a sympathetic smolder that quickly after realizing that he was processing his wife's supposed death is equally heart warming and heartbreaking
