This is the gun snake plisken used as his 2 sidearms in escape from L.A.. Very cool futuristic look.

How would you recommend this for a backwoods/ hunting gun on a chest rig?

Hello, thanks for the review. Do you still having the smith? Any issues? Or updates? I'm between this and a colt Python.

Do you think the 357 mag model is better than the 44 mag model?

If I will try a .357 magnum revolver, I might look for this one in the range or a revolver that has a 5 inch barrel or longer. Would you think a newbie like me handle such recoil? I remember shooting my dad's Colt 1911 in .45 ACP. It's heavy but soft shooter with a 5 inch barrel. Lately I've shot my brother's Glock 19. I love it and I plan to have one but I feel like I have to make extra effort to hold the G19 firmly to control the snappy recoil. The same I say about the Springfield XD9 subcompact (which I also plan to get). I've shot 10 rounds of my brother's Glock 26 and that one was snappy. I like it because of how accurate I was but I was wondering if it'll hurt my hand if I continued using it for another 50 rounds. (I let you know this so hopefully anyone can determine how my comfort level would be with this .357 magnum revolver.)

My dream hand gun. Sir, what is the caliber of this revolver - is it .357 or .44 magnum.
