The CAPTAIN HENRY JACKMAN is the tenth of 10 Equinox class vessels ordered by Algoma Central Corporation in 2010. Her design incorporated improvements in cargo capacity and equipment and included innovations such as lighter weight aluminum hatch covers. The vessel was built in China and launched in 2020. Algoma took delivery of the vessel in 2021.
