Luke is the iconic legend of Star Wars, regardless of what the sequels did to the character. Luke is the strongest and most heroic character of the saga. Without him their wouldn’t even be Star Wars.

Luke will continue to inspire generations of young people like it does me. Like Yoda said, Luke inspires with his victories but also his failures. Sometimes we have to relearn the same lessons over and over. But that is where real growth happens. Thanks for the video and may the Force be with you.

Luke Skywalker has his father's devotion to his friends, bravery, impulsiveness, and adaptability But he has his mother's kindness, her boundless love, and level head. Even when everyone else had given up on Anakin Skywalker, Luke and Padmé didn't. Luke is Anakin's son, but he's also Padmé's. It isn't bravery or skill with a lightsaber that saves Anakin. It's love. It's having hope for his father, that Anakin could break free of Vader, that finally allows Anakin to triumph against his darker half.

I wish they'd made Luke's order more like it was in legends I belive, where he kept the core of the jedi code and teachings but learned from the failings of the last order

The underlying message is infinite, pure inspiration.

thank you so much for making this. this really changed my opinion on luke. it’s hard to remember everything he’s been through so i’m glad i decided to watch this. i wasn’t a huge fan of the guy but this really helped me out to see why people like his character and say he’s one of the best. if i ever feel unsure about him i’ll come back to this

Videos like this paint the sequel trilogy in a better light . A shame it could’ve been so much better. I think one of the reasons Luke’s TLJ self is jarring because of how different he is from where we left him from return of the Jedi. The problem was the turmoil he went through we didn’t see happen in real time instead it was told to us I don’t think that worked too well . People do forget he eventually becomes the very best version of Luke that we remember in the end but by then it was too little too late

A hero risen found to have fallen as his father is storied but yet rises again a legend reborn well remembered after death for said Skywalker that no one is ever truly gone.

I really loved how you approached his character in this one you can feel how much love you have for the universe all those parallels combined the old and the new flowed perfectly together such an amazing song for him tbh I never heard it before it worked fantastically your telling of his story was incredible and that ending was beautiful man you did such an amazing job with this legendary edit 💙

Thanks for sharing this. I will Always be a Star Wars fan, seen all of them ever since from the 1st showing, and also with my young boys….this video puts Luke’s struggles from within himself, and at a better understanding of what he was going through. For me,The heroes will always be both Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia, and even though we don’t have much of her life to go on, she was a powerful Jedi, besides helping Luke from time to time. So sad they never really took the Luke and Leia characters deeper and further into their lives, explaining things more and about also becoming more aware with the knowledge of their powers. Rey is quite the mystery Jedi. One question for me is how did she ever know how to use the force without training from another Jedi Master, such as Luke had to do and others like the PadWans were doing in their childhood? I still wonder about Rey’s ancestry as well and wonder if she is Luke’s daughter, snokes daughter, or maybe Palpatines, or possibly somehow another daughter of Anakin’s as well. Maybe someday they will make another sequel to the history…..HIGH 5
