Her cries while trying to reach for Huckleberry were so sad, just a kid wanting some affection. I hope you're able to find somewhere for her soon!

I do hope Piya finds a companion one day soon, she's a cuddly young one that obviously wants a friend.

Science North Ontario in Sudbury (Canada) lost their 20 year old beaver recently, and had a very large space for him. They may be willing to take Pia if they're still looking for a new beaver!

Knowing her backstory likely involved the destruction of her lodge and potentially the death of her family, seeing that tiny beaver cry out and reach as soon as she saw another of her kind was one of the saddest things I've ever seen an animal do. Poor baby.

My heart exploded when she was reaching through the bars. HUCK!!!! HUCK!!!!i love how the whole time jessi was speaking, the beaver spent the whole time eating.Aww sorry to hear the Pia and Huckleberry don't get along.
