We have another feel good video for you today! These opossum orphans have paint on their ears so our staff can accurately record weights and monitor their health. While these opossum babies are cute, they will grow up quickly and develop wild instincts. It is NEVER ok to keep a wild animal as a pet, these animals are under the care of licensed rehabilitators with the intent to be released as soon as they are ready.

    I'm always happy to see possums being treated so well. These guys only have a couple year lifespan in the wild, and it's usually a brutal life. I try to help the ones in my area when I can.
