The thing with Eugenia is she doesn’t want to get better, she wants to stay sick. when I suffered an*rexia I liked the fact that my body triggered people around me, i wanted everybody to believe that I was ok and that they just can’t achieve my looks.. I think Eugenia has a similar mindset

The diaper thing is probably PTSD from recovery. When you’re in ED recovery, you become incontinent because your body isn’t used to eating and digesting so your muscles become weak. So people in recovery have to wear diapers until they can regain control of their bowels. Since she has PTSD from the 5150, she most likely has PTSD around all aspects of recovery as well and the diaper thing probably reminded her of it.

There’s so many similarities between Eugenia and Venus angelic, it’s concerning, and quite alarming. The abusive household (especially the mothers) childishness/infantilisation, being fetishised (possibly by themselves, which is a definitive for Venus), unnaturally high pitched voice/speech, self-destructive behaviour, disordered eating,, there’s possibly more that I have forgotten or missed, but their lives coincide a little too much for any form of comfort imo

As someone who has an eating disorder (mostly through recovery currently) the diaper comment was probably so personal for her bc she most certainly has had ‘accidents’ at her weight… it’s just something that sometimes happens when you’re like this

It's funny because Eugenia's case reminds me of another youtuber who is in the opposite end of the ed spectrum, Amberlynn Reid. Both of them have been lying to their fans and gaslighting them for years, supposedly getting help but then inmeadiately getting worse than before, and both call people who criticize them for their wrong actions or just even people who try to help them, "trolls" and "haters", using them as an excuse to fall deeper into their disorders. And in both cases, all we can do is watch while they slowly kill themselves, either from eating too much or starving. It's quite sad to be honest.

There is only one person who can save Eugenia and that is Eugenia. As an adult, if she doesn't want to seek and accept help, then there is nothing that can be done (unless her parents seek legal help and obtain medical guardianship from a judge.

I was hospitalized for a condition in my teens in a ward with all the ED patients. Watching girls panic over the calorie content of gum, argue with nurses over ice water, so weak they couldn't get out of bed or walk, being fed nutrition shakes through tubes in their noses. I'll never forget that nor understand why it is so glamorize. That's a hell I wouldn't wish on anyone, I truly hope she gets help soon, I really do...

The way you handle the sensitive topic of EDs, reminding people that it is a MENTAL ILLNESS, which has its medical complications and that comments about her appearance are unhelpful - is a very mature response. I also love how you mention that this issue is not black and white and is more complex than that! TW/CW - mentions of weight i was forced into hospitalisation at 55 pounds and kept refusing food until I had a tube inserted up my nose with security holding me down 💀and after that I met a nurse who told me I didnt "look" anorexic, even though EDs dont have a look! I wish more people knew that!

I think there are a few things that make this complicated. like nikocado avocado, the reason people like this don't seek help and improve their physical health is because they are afraid of losing their fans, when they are become more healthy and physically not unique anymore. They get attention and benefit from taking advantage of their otherwise abnormal physical condition. Whatever content they create, the main focus of the audience is their physical appearance (and they also do that with a purpose). The audience and their fans also are sick people with strange fetishes. Normal people would find it disturbing to watch things like this. Then a liberal/progressive political agenda that supports, strengthens one person to love themself and normalizes all things that actually bad also plays a role. Only they can help themselves by leaving the internet and focusing on recovering their physical and mental health. But who am i to tell people how to live their life, right ? anyway good video love ur content..

It’s not allegedly, she DOES stream every other night for 8 hours straight. Never eats, drinks or goes to the bathroom. It’s all facts. I can only handle an hour on her stream.

honestly jaclyn was being the bestest friend you could ever wish for when she did the 5150 on eugenia. and of course eugenia would end up being mad at her, that's what ana does to your mind - everyone who tries to interfere with your ed is instantly labeled as an enemy. it's sad really.

I did some research and there's an old video of Eugenia saying that her family was crazy and I definitely think she is being abused and that Jacklyn's video is actually probably correct. I agree a lot with your points and I just feel bad for her. As someone with a lot of empathy, I just feel bad for her and her experience. But you're right, it's up to her on how she wants to live her life.
