49 minutes of discussion about comedy, featuring Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais and my favorite comedian, Louis CK.

  • I want another sit down with these same guys now. After Ricky called out Hollywood, after the slap, and after the Louis controversy. I want to hear Jerry's take on all of it and hear all of them discuss the state of comedy now.

"The F word is like a Corvette" That entire explanation was a stand up bit!! Gold

So much has happened after this show... a brit, a jew, a black guy, and a red headed mexican walk into a bar... greatest comedians of the 21st century.
  • Chris Rock is too polite. Everyone spoke over him. Would have liked to hear more from him.
  • I've probably watched this about 50 times over the last 8 years. Never gets old.
  • "Does he do the whistle?" Chris Rock with the funniest moment in this hilarious hour of great comedy. Four excellent perspectives on humor from four maestros.

it really sucks that this never happened again. I guarantee there's more gold to be mined from recording these 4 legends talking in a room together.
  • I seriously come back and watch this about every three months.... I dont know why. But I love this video.
  • It's worth pointing out that Gervais was producer on this show, and was functioning as a sort of host. It wasn't intended to be "4 Equal Comedians," it was presented more as "Gervais loves these guys and wants to do this thing with them."
  • I truly hope the guy who did that bit finds his way to this video and realizes that 4 of the greatest comedians of all time both laughed at the actual joke, talked about it for 10 minutes, and built on it the funniest moment of their sit down together.
  • I've watched this so many times, it needs a sequel 10 years later.
  • I wish they would do this again and ask Chapelle and Burr to join. Do a round table.
  • Jerry Seinfeld thinks about the difference between black and white porn once a month.
  • I've watched this like 5 times over the years. It's like comfort food now. It's so good. Why is this not a TV series of comedians?
  • I could watch these guys talk everyday. It's the most interesting dynamic. They all have different views, styles, arguments...it's incredibly engaging. I'm convinced that comedy scratches a different surface in this world, which reveals deeper and deeper layers, that the audience simply isn't aware of until they examine why they laughed in the first place.

OK guys, enough is enough; I just want Louis C.K. back without any conditions.
  • To me, It feels like there's anger or tension throughout most of the conversation, but in reality I realize they're actually displaying unity with different types of comedy from different types of comedians and doing a damn good job at it. I like it.
