I had a friend in 5th grade who always smelled like cat pee and told me once that she wiped the faces off of shopkins with nail polish remover so they could be food for her littlest pet shop. She said she had a machete that she could bring to school one day and we never saw her again. Hope queen is doing well

I was in high school during this time, but my younger sister was so obsessed with Shopkins back when she was a toddler. I remember playing with Shopkins because of her.... so many memories.... now she's 12 years old and into makeup and fashion. She still has a shopkins blanket, which she still uses to this day.....Why do they grow up so fast!?! 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️

Shopkins originating from Australia actually explains a lot for me. I remember there was this character that was fairy bread (Australian snack that's just bread with sprinkles) and I was so confused on what it was supposed to be as a kid.

my family didn't buy toys much unless thrifted, so when I got an amazing report card, my dad brought me to toys r us to buy me two huge packs of shopkins. That was my first toy directly bought from it's retailer. That was my fondest memory, i miss them so much.

Honestly, Shopkins walking so Mini-Brands could run is so true. Shopkins fit those cute childhood toy themes of real items with eyes. Mini-Brands is just the adult version/realistic version of Shopkins. 😂

Shopkins were my LITERAL CHILDHOOD😭😭😭😭😭 I remember adoring them, and I witnessed their fall from fame. It was a short while after L.O.L. Surprise! dolls took over the market. It made me kinda sad to not see them around so much anymore.

I went to a whole shopkins themed trading birthday party in the third grade 😭 we all traded and got goodie bags with shopkins at the end and she was rich so the whole party was shopkins themed everywhere and her house was huge it’s literally such a vivid memory for me

I did not expect the My Froggy Stuff shout-out lol. I only got into her stuff last year and she's so talented! As a kid, I probably also would've preferred the mini brands to also use as proper props for my dolls but from what I've seen, I think it's still more of a collector's experience for gen alpha.
