Hey guys! Welcome to leg #3 of this westward trip I took back in February! This trip was full of firsts for me, which included my first time being at DFW and SEA! It just so happened that my last flight from D.C. was the exact same plane I would take onward to Seattle! I literally had no idea until I arrived in Dallas too :D The flight was again very similar to the previous in terms of hard product, but there's just something about night flights that I really enjoy and this one didn't disappoint. It was a fairly long flight on a 737, but very peaceful and I really could just enjoy being up there in the sky the entire time. It also helped that I had some of the nicest mainline AA flight attendants, something I wish I'd have on all my American flights. But sadly that's never the case. The aircraft had awesome mood lighting, a spacious cabin, large overhead bins, free entertainment, a large collection of movies & TV shows, in seat power outlets underneath the seats, and WiFi onboard. Boarding/deboarding was smooth and the flight departed on time and arrived early. You still can't get away from the fact that AA has some pretty boring seats and not a ton of legroom though. But overall, enjoyed both airports and the flight itself. Hope you guys enjoy!

Flying into my city, Seattle! πŸ’šπŸ€—πŸ’™ I currently reside in Dallas, and have taken that flight a few times. It's great being able to see the view if the mountains flying into SEA.

I love night flights, the roar of the engine and silence in the cabin.

0:50 Terminal A also has DART Rail which goes toward Dallas and Amtrak. Terminal B has TRE Rail to Ft Worth. Also at Terminal D they have the Grand Hyatt. Great views of the planes taking off and landing! It’s amazing!

Amazing video as always! It would be awesome to see even more of where the other planes are going, definitely at major airports because there’s so many unique routes. Idk how easy it is for you to look up the routes, but it would be super cool. Just a thought. Amazing trip report though as always!

I like your graphics. Welcome to Seattle. Obviously a winter landing in December darkness.

Another great vid! I love flying with you!
  • Nice trip report! It's hard to film on night flights because of the darkness, however, the cabin will be beautiful with moodlighting, much prettier than on morning flights
  • I agree about DFW being awesome for AvGeeks. Had a chance to get there early for a flight a couple years back and the skylink was second to none in terms of views!
