Use Half the Epoxy In Your Table Project

been binging all of your videos and you saying “if you’ve already seen me explain how to make one of these tables and just want to see the edge trick you can skip ahead” made me laugh, as if i’m not gonna eagerly sit here and watch you explain it and show it to me 1200 times, i don’t think you understand how much i will re-watch the entire process ad infinitum 😭

I find your videos by far the best on YT. I’m an experienced woodworker (over 40 years) and think I can say that you do everything in that difficult balance between perfection and yet still needing to make a profit. Perfection takes so much time that you end up working for nothing; “good enough” is never good enough. I don’t see any other maker go into such detail about each step; the method and the reason plus taking the time to list out everything used. For instance, I suspect many YT people would not tell us where to buy those legs but keep it to themselves. That really annoys me - I don’t like videos which just say “look how great I am”; yours say “here is what I do; here is how I do it and here is what I use” I’m not a great fan personally of heavily refined pieces. However, I do accept that they are a great way to use pieces of timber which otherwise would be scrap. People like them at the moment but fashion is a nebulous beast. I don’t know what will happen when the fashion changes. Please maintain the very high standard of your videos. The quality of camera work enhances the quality of the work you show.
