I saw a comment about the large flap area. Actually the flaps appear to act like Fowler flaps. Those were large area flaps designed in the 1930's by people at Lockheed. They were designed to provide additional lift and stability at slow speeds. They also provided additional lift for short-field take-offs. I remember Fowler flaps on the Constellations and the Lockheed Electra. I was a passenger aboard both. I recall noticing the 757 flaps too. I was aboard among the first 757 aircraft flying. These were Eastern Airlines 757's. It's quite a memory.

I remembered being aboard one of the first 757, with Eastern Airlines. who along with British Airways were the first to order the Boeing 757. The Eastern 757 I was on was only a month old.

First video where I see flaps are lowered way before landing usually within 14 miles away. These are true pilots mountainous area not a piece of cake, air is thinner, I have done this and it's all about skills. Thank God for on board computers but still you must keep your eyes open even if you been here a bunch of times. Passengers should have applauded for skillful pilots in high terrain when landed. Loved video 👍.

Interesting this pops up in my recommendations. I live 25 minutes east of Eagle in Edwards and flying out of EGE to DFW is so nice. Driving to Denver is a pain in the pass. Sometimes I fly into DIA to get back to EGE, which is a very quick flight. Awesome video.

Excellent video

Beautiful video! I was driving in a car underneath your flight as it was on short final into EGE!
-
I love your videos so much bro
-
Boeing definitely retired the wrong fucking plane when they stopped making 757s and continued re-developing the hell out of the little 737!
-
Pretty for weather is cold with snow great thank you
-
I love 757s, unfortunatly here in Brazil we don't have this one anymore.

Fantastic Video mate! #10KSubs

Looks like a lot of flaps for take off! Although, I've never been on a 757 and usually fly on a 737-800, so maybe it's normal for that plane.
-
How do you fly so much? Do you go to these places for family reasons or to get in more youtube videos, i really wanna know more lol
-
l love 757-200
-
large aircraft for eagle/vail

Beautiful video, thanks for making it!! (first time viewer/subscriber) It's too bad the American Airlines flight attendant/announcer was as boring and dull as he could be, no expression at all, only reading his "script".
