I genuinely laughed for a minute straight watching this video. The snail-like pace of the Dragonball Super recently has been an... interesting choice I suppose.

Im still gonna be optimistic about this year for Dragon Ball, it's our 40 year anniversary and we going to be eating good in no time.

Hot Take: DBS manga should become a weekly release rather than a monthly one. That would definitely help with the glacier levels of slow pacing.

This has to be a feat for Black Frieza. He's so strong, he even confuses Toyotaro where to go with him.

To me it would be interesting if it shows how a terrorist organization keeps on going after all of its founders have been wiped out, and could evolve to become a greater threat. Similar to real life. It could happen as part of multiple story lines happening at once. Maybe RR could ally with Black Freeza or another new villain. Or whoever is the villain in Daima. It'll be a challenge to the Dragon Ball creative team to make a more complex storyline than before.

Tbh the TOP ruined any and all potential for believable new opponents because it narrowed everything down to just a handful of what were supposedly the strongest beings in their respective universes. This makes me question most threats after that arc and even if so far they have justified these enemies, there's only so many times they can use the "oh, he was locked away /banished until now" trope. It's made the DB universe feel so small now. Back in the days of Z u would never know what galactic threats were out there while in super universe 7 is pretty much Freeza's territory. This is why I think the villains are starting to regress back to the low stakes, goofy villain of the week types we would see in OG DB.

It does sound interesting. I mean, carmine may have a secret weapon that could give a challenge that will force teen gotenks to finally appear outside of dragonball heroes. Since this is the RR army, maybe we will get to see another android. Also having a new cell max wouldn't be far fetched. IT WAS CLEARLY STATED that what we saw was an incomplete version of cell max because magenta couldn't wait anymore.

I don't mind this slice of life stuff with Goten and Trunks. And i think there are others who could agree with me, even slightly. I'm down for it. It takes a break from big "serious" stories. The problem is though they are mishandling the entire franchise. Its hardly cohesive. Like you can't go "check out this new powerful frieza, whos been training for 10 years in another dimension, wonder how thats gonna go" and then hardcut to Trunks and Goten thing. If it had been it's own small side thing it would be one thing but it led into the Super Hero movie, so it was just a rerun. And while i don't know how much I want frieza back yet, that's a huge thing to just leave there and not call any attention to it. It's just wonky.

I feel like this coming chapter is just there to give Goten some victories because He’s never gotten a solo victory in his life until this arc with the Elvis android and these RR grunts.

ATP, all I care about is Sparking Zero, when it comes to the manga and now 6 year hiatus of the anime, it’s clear that they don’t care what the fans want. I don’t even blame Toyotaro, it’s Shuiesha and goofey ass Victory Uchida that’s playing the fan base

After seeing the new chapter this video did not age well at all. I swear it's nothing but hate and negativity in this channel it's sad

Why does anybody care about black frieza? Laziest character ever written, even more than Max Cell. He's just supremely talented and hates saiyans for no reason, and now he's the strongest again oh boo hoo he's so evil oh no retcons. Slice of life Goten and Trunks is actually fresh, they just needed to skip Max Cell altogether. They messed up by repeating another movie for no reason

Toyatoro has to be under to much pressure... Thats all i can think for this guy. Imagine meeting your hero Akira and have him pass the torch to you. But on top of passing the torch he goes and works on the anime at for the manga he just gave you. I mean totally directing the direction of the show. You cant even be truly be creative and we get glimpses of his writing skills from time to time but i just feel like he is trying to stick to paying his respects to toriyama which honestly any one would be pressed to play it safe. But your definitely right this is suffering.its Not even interesting. They giving us remains lol when we just want it fresh and exciting dragon ball

I think this extra chapter is just covering the loose ends and bookending the arc. THEN its over. That is it besides possibly setting up or teasing the actual next arc at the very end.
