Puyol's first action after the final whistle? He doesn't run to celebrate with his squad, he immediately goes to console and shake the hands of every german player. What a treasure of international football.

As a German I have to admit: Spain was brilliant. They truely deserved the title.
  • Puyol always been so underrated. The man would use his whole body to make sure that no goals would be scored

just imagine messi took spains call and went and played for them instead of the ungrateful argentina. he wouldve already been called the best of time.

Puyol - pique and ramos at defender casillas : drinking coffee
  • A one-club man, one of the most humble player in football, and definitely one of the best captain in Barca history.

I remember German Coach Joachim Löw says after beating Argentina and before facing Spain in 2010 Semi Final "Argentina has one messi but Spain has 4 messi's"...Iniesta,Pedro,Villa & Torres.
  • I like how Spain had a lot of Barcelona players in their team, FC Barcelona had the best players of the world in 2010.

I truly forget how OP the Spanish National team was from 2008-2012. 2 Euro championships and a World Cup championship. Pretty much like 80% of the team were in their prime and tiki taka was used so well. Man. Good old days. I remember being amazed as a kid watching Spain in the 2010 World Cup. Truly something special
