    It's worth having a few just in case. Seeing how people reacted when toilet paper ran out, water and food shortages will be disastrous especially with 10's of millions of people living in the state.

    Having a back up of food items like this is good planning for anyone who lives in earthquake zones. THe LDS have a system of storing at least a years supply of similar food.
