  • I bet there’s a scene where she’s at a concert and every single person is smiling at her

I was so hoping that the main character would be the policeman who was cursed at the end of the original film...
  • Honestly, here are 2 ending possibilities: 1.) She ends up getting possessed during a concert and kills herself on stage with the audience being cursed. 2.) She ends up freeing herself from the curse by killing someone that "feeds" the trauma, but leads her to lose her fame, reputation, and role as a celebrity: eventually being imprisoned like Robert Talley (the only survivor of the curse from the first film).
  • Having an international pop star as the protagonist is a really unique approach, I can’t even lie.

Gotta admit, that scene with what looks like her background dancers coming at her simultaneously in the narrow hallway looks really cool.

Such a cool angle for a sequel. First one was one of the greats for me. Very geeked.

So proud of Naomi Scott, she deserved more films after Alladin but I'm happy to see her back now

Smile became successful because it's Original and not a remake of an older film. People want more of that, I swear man nowadays it feels like every movie is just a copy of another one.
  • i’m really glad Lukas Gage is getting more recognition, i’ve loved him since he was in T@gged

I think the first movie's strengths weren't the story but rather the camera work and especially the sound design. I remember being in the cinema and the music and sounds were amazing and embracing. I can't wait for the sequel!!

he scene where the dancers are chasing after her in the hallway is true nightmare fuel.

In the previous film, the entity can only affect one person at a time, but what happened if the death is witnessed by multiple people, do you think it will "infect" multiple people at the same time?

What if she dies on stage and everybody in the audience is cursed?!?
  • @KommandantKavu
I feel like there is a subtlety missing here that the first film had. And I also feel the smiles in the first film were a little more unsettling for some reason compared to here.
