I can guarantee you that many more people would’ve picked this option if it said, “Go back to kill Micah.” Rather than, “Go back for the money.”

imagine Arthur spits blood into Micahs face before he dies and laughs at him. And when Micah asks him whats so funny he would just say " Nothing Black Lung"

What I love the most about this is that in the Low Honor ending, Arthur goes back for the money. In the High Honor one, he goes back for Micah

I love that micah is missing an eye when you visit him as john. That really gave me satisfaction knowing Arthur gave micah something to remember him by.

5:04 you can hear the utter exhaustion and FRUSTRATION in Arthur’s voice, Micah killed Susan, and Arthur is stabbed in the back by him bleeding out and Dutch STILL needs convincing. “him... HIM!!!” Like Dutch your son basically, is BLEEDING OUT AND SCREAMING FOR YOU TO UNDERSTAND, AT LEAST UNDERSTAND IF NOTHING ELSE.

I feel like it would've been a tad more noble if, in High Honor mode, he tells John he'd just slow him down, and that he'll try to distract Dutch and Micah as long as he can.

What I thought would hit me: Arthur dying What actually hit me: Arthur comforting and thanking his dying horse

I wish Arthur said, "You're already dead..." And then Micah replies: "WHAT?!" And then Arthur coughs in his face.

This ending is absolutely perfect when considering the theme of revenge in the series. “Revenge is a fools game”, is repeated constantly and revenge is the downfall of each protagonist.

The fact that when Arthur is sick and should be on his death bed, he's still almost able to kill Micah. If only we didn't beat Mr. Downes, Arthur probably would've been able to save the gang

Alot of people wished that Arthur lived but Arthurs character is at his best after he finds out he's sick it sparks a change in him and the game gives you the option to refuse rewards people offer you after helping them showing that Arthur doesn't care about money anymore Arthurs redemption doesn't start at the beginning of the game like johns it starts after he gets sick

I think i speak for everyone when I thought that nobody could top john marston, that who the hell is this Arthur Morgan guy? But by the end that was the most emotional death scene ive ever played
