Priti Patel confirms an expansive Ukrainian family scheme will be established, extending eligibility to British nationals' parents, grandparents, adult offspring, siblings and their immediate family members.

Those joining relatives in the UK will be given leave for 12 months.

Ms Patel says the usual language requirements have been removed, and where family members do not meet the usual eligibility criteria, but pass security checks, they will be given permission to enter the UK. This could enable an additional 100,000 Ukrainians to come to the UK.

Ms Patel says there is "no limit" on the numbers who can apply under the family migration route.
