20-min DANCE WORKOUT for active seniors and beginners

Welcome to a short 20 minute dance workout which will fire up those endorphins and bring more smiles to your face! This dance workout is for anyone who loves to dance as a form of exercise. Besides dancing, I've added in moves to target the various muscles in the body to help tone and sculpt the body. This low impact fat burning workout is geared to get your heart rate elevated for all the great health benefits exercise brings. Have fun with the workout and think of it more as a dance party rather than it being exercise:) If you follow at my pace, the final step count is 2232 steps.

  • At age 50 I was diagnosed with a highly aggressive breast cancer. The diagnosis hit me like a truck and as I reflected I realized I spent my adult life being care taker of others and neglected my own health. As I started aggressive therapy I started doing this dance workout almost daily as well as improved my nutrition. Later I started doing other videos you have including weights. A year and a half later I am down fifty pounds and feel awesome! With the regular exercise and being in a healthy weight range I have reduced the chance of the cancer returning by over half. I could never express how thankful I am to you for your channel.❤

    I am 67 and have been sedentary for past 3-4 years, as well as experiencing depression. I know from past experience that starting slow in exercise and sticking with it makes a great difference. My doc said 10 minutes a day can change your life. I love this simple, doable video and the refreshing scenery on the wall. I will be continuing with this one! Thank you!

    Well we’ll, we finally got to exercise again, after taking turns being sick for a while. Wow, we’ve just proven how quickly you get behind when you don’t get to workout daily. Hopefully no more e hurdles in the way for a while. We enjoyed this workout!

  • what a fun cardio! I thought it was fairly easy u ntil I got to the cross country skiing. That's when I started sweating. But I'm so nice and warmed up for my strength workout, so here I go!

    I go to the gym and been to lots of cardio classes… but can’t seem to be motivated by this type of music… one thing for sure I love the no talking part😅
  • Jules I started this program last month then came down with the flu. Just restarted it — five minute warm up,: first day of strength challenge, 20 minute aerobics — I feel good and so does my back. I thank you for all of your programs. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😊

    My body is liking your newer 15-20 minute full body movement/cardio workouts. For variety I'm integrating older ones into my morning workout. I need to start stacking them with short strength videos a couple times a week. I always enjoy the music because the beat matches the tempo of the exercises -- especially at the end when I slow down, breathe, and relax for the start of my busy days. Thank you for a new workout each week.

  • Love this one! I've been doing your workouts daily and I'm doing the 25 days of strength 5 days/week and loving it as well. I can feel my legs are getting stronger and I'm able to lift my legs higher with the kicks and knee lifts. The squats are easier now and my arm strength is improving as well. I'm on week 3 of the strength videos and I can tell the difference in both my arms and legs. I know if I continue, I will only get stronger as I can tell the difference so far. My hips and back are starting to feel better too! I am so happy I found your videos. All of them are fun and I'm getting fit while doing them so it's a win, win! I actually look forward to doing your workouts every day. Thanks so much for giving and sharing your gifts with others and helping them get fit, like you! :-)
