The "CPS showed up and found Ruby baking with her daughter instead" thing makes me laugh. Parents are actually often informed that CPS is visiting ahead of time, so she most likely cleaned the house and made the daughter bake with her in order to make it seem like nothing was wrong. Very common for abusive parents to put on act when faced with CPS, and I say this from experience.

Austin Jones got 10 years and James Charles hasn't even been charged, and still has a successful YT account. I guess he didn't have the star power James had.
