Chorus:
Freedom's just another word for nothin' left to lose
Nothin', don't mean nothin' hon' if it ain't free, no no
And, feelin' good was easy, Lord, when he sang the blues
You know, feelin' good was good enough for me
Good enough for me and my Bobby McGee

My wife and I were there, and it was one of best concerts that we ever attended. Thank you, Highway Men! I know that some of you have passed, but I will remember you all until my final day! God bless you all.

I never realized that Kris Kristofferson wrote "Me and Bobby McGee!" Not only that, but Kris is also a United States Army Captain, having served as a helicopter pilot and a qualified U.S. Army Ranger. A true American badass outlaw!
  • "From the coal mines of Kentucky to the California Sun" What a line. And delivered with perfection!

FIVE legends to me...Mickey Raphael on harmonica was every bit as crucial to this wonderful collaboration of musicians. Music will never be as good as this again.

  • Is it fair to say that this Highwaymen concert in 1990 was one of the greatest live shows of the entire 20th century?
  • Enjoy people, don’t think we will ever have another talent on stage as the highwaymen again !
  • Am I the only one who is worried that there is nothing close to this going forward?
