2077 - 10 Seconds to the Future | New Nomads:    • 2077 - 10 Seconds to the Future | New...

100 years after Man stepped on the Moon, it’s likely that we are in a position to colonise Mars. We are heading towards the creation of a planetary civilization in what will be the greatest transition in the history of Humankind. A brave new world lies before us. And a highspeed race to reverse the poisoning of the planet Earth. We used fossil fuels to take the big leap of the Industrial Revolution and during the 20th and 21st centuries we filled the atmosphere with carbon dioxide, in an explosive way. Even if today we completely stopped sending carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, the amount that has already been released is such that it is enough to cause global warming for decades to come, like a lung that is subject to the action of tobacco for years. How strange the climate with become depends on the measures we take today. Two degrees more are tolerable. Ten degrees more will have dramatic, unpredictable consequences, granting the impossibility of living in many territories which are inhabited today, as well as the relocation of cities by the coast.

Now, we have to face the music so-to-speak. What are we going to do? 2077 tries to find some answers. Enjoy FD peeps!
  • If we are too dumb to fix our own planet, how can we make a new one our own?
  • Why can’t these dreamers see that we first have to survive to 2100. Forget about Mars. We have problems to fix here now.
  • We thought 2020 will be like this in my childhood🥲 Now 2000 is better than 2022🇱🇰

Earth already a perfect place for all humanity , human as nature we all must fix it we have intelligent use it properly.
  • So develop technology to inhabit another planet but don’t develop technology to fix the problems we have here on earth? 🤔 righhht righttt
  • @Odinhaus
The real issue is that our technology advances at a far greater rate than we can evolve sociologically. There will be an unavoidable conflict between existing sociopolitical structures and the structures required to enable extra planetary colonization. It's already happening to a certain extent even now - where private companies are outpacing governments, but governments on Earth will want to maintain control of activities off planet.

Many fantasies, & dreams will be broken before 2050! Maranatha !
  • As long as we continue to engage in currency exchange for products and services humanity will NEVER break away from its inherited taste for greed. Transforming from that greed into knowledge and betterment of self will be one of the greatest advances man will ever accomplish.
  • I think humans are going to have a real rough time soon. I think we've reached pretty much the peak of our advancement for some time.

If we protect nature, nature will protect us or vice-versa

With All Due Respect, Thank You And Congratulations For Sharing This Video Documentary With Us All. There's Not The Need To Be Updated. It Goes On And On And On.. 💜🇸🇬✌

We, humans really don't know what we want. We have perfect home and yet we destroy her, then we looked up and search for a new home. Once we succeed to turn the new planet to be a new perfect home, we will destroy it the same way we destroyed earth.

As of this point, I see no future in space except for rich folks leaving what they caused and claiming that the expansion will be great for humanity and profitable for the companies they own. This Documentary seems more like an info-commercial for them than the actual thing of the future. As of this day and date. I do hope things change for the better for humanity.
  • @scofab
Only when greed is eliminated as a motive force will the human race gain back a chance of survival. Living simply and living well are not mutually exclusive. Well done, thank you.
  • We are spending Billions of dollars for the hope of Mars!?! Human being are the most complex animals. Looks at the Earth, so much beautiful and perfect. Less than $12 Trillion dollars could make the world a better place. Nura KC Nigeria 🇳🇬🥂!
  • Honestly my feeling is, until we learn how to care and nurture this planet,we are going nowhere.
