It wasn't his first time in the company of nobility, and it could very well be his last if he slipped up. The people of Edes were a "fight or die" kind of people, discipline was in their blood and they shed it constantly. If he shows no restraint of his own fear then not even the beggars on the street would accept his coin, let alone would the nobility hear him out. As his anxieties rose within his chest, a completely white German Shepherd rubbed up against his side, easing the doubt just a little bit. Ghost was always one to sense danger, but if he didn't run from it then Heinrich damn well wouldn't either. "A defensive pact...that's all, that doesn't seem too hard" Heinrich mumbled as he awaited the doors to be opened, and his entrance allowed. Guards donning blackened chain with velvet scarves around their necks patrolled the halls, Heinrich is a veteran of a hundred battles but even he would lose in a one on one with them. His experience only gave him the knowledge of his martial inferiority. However the guards themselves appeared to look fondly upon Heinrich, the scars upon his face seemed to be more than just a flaw to scare away dates, maybe some were even impressed...or jealous. He practically jumped out of his skeleton as the ivory doors opened, a man of orcish descent donning pure adamantine armor soon followed through the gap. "Come in...leave the dog" He spoke only through a gravelly voice further muffled by a plated face mask. Heinrich nodded, betraying an utter sense of fear and dizziness borne from the blood rush. He had no choice now. [By NaturalOne] The sound of boots clipping against stone echoed through the marble passage as Brendeth Elkcrest, a man barely contained beneath his tight-fitted tunic, marched purposefully down the golden corridors of Castle Oudart, trying not to squint at the gold-embellished paintings and trophies vainly lining the hallway. He noted with some disdain that many of these paintings were of the current Delegate King, Bouson Oudart, in varying degrees of glory. A pair of scarlet-armored Monarchs, the king's personal guard, threw open the doors to the throne room as the large barbarian approached. The main chamber was vast, decorated with more trinkets and pointless items, and more Monarchs stood at attention on either side of the red velveted throne. A court jester in somewhat tattered robes and a floppy, bell-tipped hat leaped and jumped, occasionally flashing its grinning white mask. The Delegate King himself rose from his throne, spreading his arms in greeting to the warrior. "Brendeth Elkcrest!" he announced in a commanding voice, "How good it is to see you in my palace! May I get you anything to eat or drink?" He snapped, and a servant darted off. "Nothing for me, Bouson," Brendeth replied, almost smirking as the king bristled from the lack of proper formality. "I've heard you have recently come into contact with some assassins seeking to prematurely end your life." "You have heard well, tribesman." Oudart began to pace, the length of his royal robe whispering as it dragged behind him. "While my Monarchs are extremely well-trained, these brigands tend to use more unconventional tactics to try and slip a blade between my ribs. Everything from doppleganger fruits to enthralled servants. I need a more experienced mind, one who can anticipate that which cannot be anticipated. "Furthermore, I am prepared to fill your pockets with whatever you can ask and more, should you prevent these coups from continuing. I have studied your people and their ways, which are, I must say, quite fascinating. You will not be paid in coin or treasure, but the precious bone ore that holds substantial value among your various tribes." By now, a group of servants had returned carrying a stand between them, brimming with exotic fruits and a bottle of rich purple wine. The king leaned over and popped a grape into his mouth before continuing, dismissing the team. "So, what say you, Destroying Wind of the Northern Peaks? Can you put an end to these attacks? Expect the unexpected?" Brendeth didn't reply at first. He was lost in thought, mind already racing. Blessedly, Oudart was silent, allowing him time to ponder. Expect the unexpected. Anticipate the unanticipated. He couldn't move on from those words. The jester finished its performance with a twirling jump, flourishing into a bow that flared part of their cloak open. The light glinted off a dozen polished blades, all well-hidden within the folds of the cape, and the fool met Brendeth's eyes, that mask now more a grin of malice. The man roared, sprinting towards the joker, but a knife had already found its way into the pale throat of the Delegate King.

I was laying in bed, when I heard 0:16, and it scared me because it’s 1am and I thought my Mum was coming to tell me off for being awake 😂

My body may be stuck in quarantine but my mind walks happily, and cautiously, through the palaces of Ulthuan. A truly wonderful and immersive piece, thank you for making being shut in a lot more bearable.

What I want most from this channel is that they can make a relaxing sound from a medieval throne room :(

The royal guests have arrived for the coronation feast of king Daniel the guards are on the lookout for any suspects that can be an assassin...the ladies talk excitedly and talk about how handsome the new king is...the ball is about to begin and all the young ladies hope to dance with the king.....its beautifully warm inside .the cold wind howls outside it's a terrible winter's day is it a premonition of some kind of danger? Someone is lurking in the shadows someone with cold vengeance in their heart . Let the ball begin announces the steward...the violins start to play and the the waltz begins.....the ladies dance with their partners under the dazzling diamond chandelier...a silent movement of swift hands and a sharp knife...suddenly the chandelier falls down and shatters....everyone is shocked and alarmed....steady and determined hands calmly hold a bow and arrow from a secret chamber that looks in to the ballroom...after all he lived and grew up here once upon a time.....the moment has come vengeance for being thrown out your own homeland...watching your father get slaughtered in front of your own eyes now the time has come after a long wait of 12 years....the arrow cuts the air gracefully

I love this, it's very much like the "Imperial Court" ambience I suggested! Probably a good idea to leave out the exotic animal calls. :)
