I really like how Jackson told the crew while filming to treat lotr as a documentary, not friction. Sometimes ones mind can almost believe it is some long lost history.

Tolkien emphasized the use of maps in his work in an interview and the way this video is presented really shows how much it makes more sense with maps. Really fantastic video, I’m blown away at how much information you were able to extract and present in a concise and detailed manner. Thank you 🙏

The fact that Tolkien's work can be broke down this way, says much about how history played a role in the story. Excellent analysis as always. Keep up the great work. I've now watched this 4 times lol.

I'd looong ago read all of Tolkien's books, and of course seen the movies... yet I'm sitting here literally stunned at this MASTERWORKS of everything put together... so much more than I'd dare dreampt of, and with a progressive (and retro) clarity that just fits together perfectly. The detail and inclusion of everything mentioned (or even suggested) in all of Tolkien-ism feels like a liberation. I can't believe it only took 3 hours, and now that its over that was not enough. T H A N K Y O U !
