I met the actress for Allie at a con and she talked about how the makeup process for the bedroom scene had to be done in installments one after the other because of how long the scene lasted and all the crazy stuff Art did. I was like, "Good God you're a trooper."
  • Unpopular opinion but Art using the gun in part 1 really set him as scary in my book. Because it was such a human/realistic side to an unreal character. It was effective
  • @jennahellmuth
So cool to be mentioned, not once but twice! Thanks James! Very rare for stunt performers to get a shout out. Like you said, Lauren really "killed" her performance and was an absolute rock star from start to finish. It was an incredible experience to be alongside such passionate performers and creative legends like Damien and the crew.
  • @notedbubbly667
I don't know why but the little moments where Art is acting normal like when he handed out candy to children for Halloween or brought her the bag after she forgot it so she could pay at the register makes him so intriguing to me. Also I love him using guns.
  • @justinbarnes9911
Fun fact: the bag jump scare in the Halloween store was actually improvised. I was at a con last week where Damien and some of the cast from terrifier 2 did a panel. Apparently, Lauren legitimately forgot the bag and Damien was debating whether they should start the scene over. Then David had a better idea.

I always appreciate when movies double down on the plot being absolutely insane.
  • @juliosvideos
allie’s death was seriously the grossest and most painful kill i’ve ever seen. i was literally watching t2 in class and my friends were looking over at me and seeing my eyes widen in shock. it was great
  • To be fair, Sienna's mom was one of the lucky ones to be giving a quick death unlike some of the other characters
  • @Mister_Cool
Bro, that was actually chilling when Art smiled and moved his head to the side to make it easier for her to slice his head off. If I was about to decapitate an enemy and they did that, I don't even think I could feel like I actually defeated them even after I decapitated them. Imagine smiling at the person about to kill you and assisting them with your death.

I admire Leone. even though 2 isn't 100% perfect its abundantly clear he took every bit of criticism of the first one to account when making this one an improvement in every single way. you might have mentioned it in the vid itself but there is a tribute to stefan karl (the actor who played robbie rotten) in the end credits as he and thornton were friends. thornton took a lot of inspo from how karl played rotten for Art. It comes full circle in The Mean One because the two met when thornton was an understudy for karl who played the grinch
  • @tentomushii0
You can tell that he genuinely is one of the people who wants to make all the good gore accessible to everyone but still has to play by YouTube rules and even has it accessible for as low as $1. We love you James
  • @Milton2k
16:42 The "I love you" line feels so natural IMO. I teared up later... when Sienna knew about her demise. The little girl has some devious trades, that I hope will be expanded in Terrifier 3.
  • @annak.6515
Oh my gosh when I saw Leah actually in your studio I just about lost it, it brought me so much joy!!! So cool that she came by to do that!!!
  • @ikeschrager9903
Allies kill was a brutal watch but I was extremely impressed with the practical effects watching it knowing it was a low budget film and it was more brutal then some of the biggest horror movies
  • I've been going through a lot of things lately because of a relapse I had this past week! James you are the first thing I go to when I'm restricted from phone use in a rehab I'm in. You are and always will be my favorite YouTuber of all time and thank you for never changing the way you do your shows, much love from my end
  • @miasma1718
as much as it sucks that you have to censor the kills this much, it's kind of good for people like me who physically cannot handle gore of this caliber, because i still want to be able to appreciate what goes into a movie like this. these videos often give me a new level of respect and appreciation for the movies you cover, so it's nice that i'm actually able to handle it in this context
  • @papajorgen7391
I watched this in the cinemas 1 year ago on Halloween. They gave us barf bags, gave us 3 warnings about the gore and about 10 people still left after the ”bedroom scene”. 10/10 would go again
  • @mava4584
Pale Girl isnt a strange addition. She was Arts first victim Emily Crane. Her parents worked at the Terrifier
