The Redback Spider B2 who has been living in a Spider Lure since January has laid up 3 more egg sacs. I inspect the Spider Lure to find a egg sac has opened up and hundreds of Redback Spiderlings are around the Spider lure. This egg sac opening lined directly up with the 4 week rule of development. This video was shot a few days after the Southern Hemisphere March Equinox. It to me signals the end of the peak Spider season for Redback Spiders as they now start to set up for the upcoming Winter.

I use a Flamethrower to control the uncontained Spider infestation as these spiderlings would be setting up to catch the wind to establish new homes.
A Black Ant colony is very close to the spider lure, I set next to it an incredible free meal of Redback Spider egg sacs and B2 Redback Spider. I put a time lapse camera on this ant colony to understand how Ants operate when given a huge free meal. But to my surprise the time lapse video captures two very different garden critters who feast on the free meal.
