If history has shown something is that most of the people that have gambled their reputation, livelihoods and even freedom on behalf of Trump have come out totally destroyed. What is wrong with the people that keep coming up to the line. Do they think they are smarter, luckier or that they are special?

The idea that Trump can close down a case where he in the defendant is pretty outrageous in itself. All the checks and balances we thought the American judicial and political system had just aren’t there.

I am horrified by all of this. This is far beyond the constant delays and kicking the can down the road. There is an active, planned strategy to lean into fraud and crime. I am losing confidence that the rule of law will win. How were classified documents used at the whim of a reckless person? Were they sold off to the highest bidder or as a means to show off?

The whole reason why we have special counsels is to protect the prosecutor from potential political manipulation. It's small wonder that a judge who was appointed by Donald Trump in order to support Donald Trump would be against that objective.
