  • To those struggling with doing one meaningful task (like I usually do) I have something to add to what Rachel said in the video. I saw a tiktoker say he incorporated (this is silly, I know but if it works it works) a motto that says "meh might as well". He'll challenge himself to do one small task amongst a larger challenge like fold one piece of laundry. And then he'll trick himself into saying "meh might as well fold another one" and then boom the task is done. It's working for me when working out. Just one exercise and then boom i completed a 30 min workout.
  • Omg yes… the nights or even entire days before work I always feel are a waste. I get anxiety that I can’t do anything at all because I need to be up early the next day, or that I don’t have enough time to have fun. I try to remind myself that I’ll never be as young as I am today and that tomorrow isn’t promised.

I recommend the book "deep work" bc the author writes about "a day in the day" where he writes about how to get things done after work and it's an overall very good book. I think you'd like it!
  • I get in early in the morning to work at 7, but I jog for 30 minutes. I go to work, then after work i study a chapter of the bible. After my bible study, i'm free to do whatever i need to and it keeps me diligent. Also, i heard somewhere that if you have to do something, do it within the first 5 seconds of thinking about it, if you don't you will most likely not do it.. so that's my 5 second rule to starting to do anything.. first 5 seconds I start

I love how open and honest you are about working. I also have a full-time job and struggle sometimes with meaning. 💚💚
  • I can't go to sleep so early! I will wake up during the night, then be tired when I get up before 6:00AM. I'm most productive in the morning after coffee but lack time because of work. Don't go out or plan things for weekdays either but I'm changing my vision of how my weekends should be. I'm in my 40's so I must live life now with meaning.
  • wow I love that you guys do a devotional together, my BF wants to do that but I'm not sure I want to do one together until I first get better at doing a devotional on my own. I def want to dedicate more time to God, love that you incorporate it into your vlogs, such a blessing ❤️
  • The one meaningful thing idea is so productive. And it actually helps.
  • I totally am the same with my routines. It's hard to be a little flexible for me. But what I do now is separate things that are important for me, I wanna get done without compromise. And other things, would be great if I got them done, but I can also do it tomorrow or the day after. This gives me some room to be a little more flexible
  • Lol I relate to you so much! I work the 8-5 life too and it just feels like I’m really restricted. I don’t like doing anything after work cause before you know it it’ll be time for bed and onto work the next day. I honestly wish I could work 4 10 hour shifts so I could have a 3 day weekend. I think I just want more flexibility. I also run errands during my lunch breaks (on the days when I have time for a lunch break lol) so I don’t have to do it after work.
  • I have the same mental block! So, far I’m in the “I’ll consider going out with a friend on a Wednesday, maybe “ phase. — it shouldn’t be this hard just live! 😫 lol
  • Love the honesty. I have an hour set aside each day where I focus on something creative to help give my day variety. For me it's first thing in the morning and it's something so small but makes me really happy.

Love you, the heart I’m giving you is a fiery one just because ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 you constantly inspire others to be more minimal, down to earth, faithful, and funny and I love watching you for so many more reasons, that’s just a few
  • Vinny is truly a queen 👑 also love how levelheaded you are, so glad I found your videos!💚

  • @isle_lee
Yess, totally relate with living by a routine. Especially with wfh, I pretty much thought I should have more time to be able to do things & go out on a weekday but I lowkey panic when I’m away from my laptop during workdays. It’s inspiring to see you try and step out of your routine ❤️
  • Gosh your comment regarding the mental block and routine... Oh my word.... It hit me. YES... I'm there. Its a constant struggle. My friends have given up on me during the week. It shouldn't be like this,😢
  • @asyamsa
Hi Rachel, I love the fact that u indirectly remind me to stay sane and take some breath in this hectic week. I do feel pressured if I dont do one of things that I like (and keep me calm) in a day. And yes, ur videos really calm me to watch, thankyou! Have a great day🤍
  • Any advice on how to deal with work stress? How to have a busy/productive day without losing your marbles 🤪 Love these videos. So glad I found your channel! 🥰
