this was the first song i had ever listened to by nf. i was a freshman in highschool, 2016. my mom had just been diagnosed with breast cancer, my father decided to take his anger out on me, lost all my friends, and my parents were one fight away from a divorce. i never thought i would ever live long enough to see my graduation.

but i did.

nfs music has gotten me through some of the lowest points of my life. and for that, i cant thank him enough

I'm really crying while listening to this song I can relate to the lyrics

It’s so crazy to look back at the original NF and all that’s changed in all of his music. It’s crazy to see the differences in his music and his perspectives. He’s grown so much as an artist and as a person, and we have grown with him. I grew up with nf, as I’m sure a lot of you guys have. but it’s just incredible to hear his songs. It’s so much different then other artists, and I’d argue different then any artist that’s ever existed. It’s in the way he writes and the way he thinks, and the beats he works with. It’s unlike other rappers, and very very different. NF, we love you. You’ve brought us through some shit and you connect to us like you right down there and you know us, even though you’ve never met us before. It’s just the way he writes.
