1:15:16 wtf this part sounds so godly slowed and reverbed I LOVE ITTTTTโคโคโค THIS VIDEO IS SO UNDERRATEDโคโคโค
  • @khaI624
The challenge with making slowed + reverb videos for entire albums is making sure they all sound consistent for instance I don't want the artist's voice to have a low deep sounding pitch but not in another I want it to have a cohesive sound. I have recived compliments on some of my Portals videos for the pitch but I'm personally not happy with how some of them sound I feel like they're way too slow and the reverb was maybe too much. I'm just finding a bunch of imperfections and I'm a perfectionst so that bothers me I'll literally change/edit a video several times I mean y'all have seen me do it it's just really frustrating I wish there was a way to go back and change them but there isn't so that's why I just decided to make this video and keep all of the song the same consistent pitch/reverb

"MOON CYCLE" is a song by Melanie Martinez that is featured as the tenth track on her third studio album, PORTALS. In an interview with Apple Music, Melanie revealed the theme of the song: On each of my albums I like to include at least one "taboo" song about something many people deal with but no one talks about in music. I wanted to write a fun, lighthearted, song about being a person who experiences menstruation. How blood represents vitality and life. Many speculated the line "I can win a fight on my period. Matter fact, right now I could build a pyramid" was a response to the line "Stacking shit, like each brick on my pyramid, I'm angry, and bloody like a bitch on her period" on the song "Revival" by Oliver Tree. However, on August 2nd, 2023, Melanie herself denied this on a TikTok comment, saying: "Moon cycle isn't about Oliver. It isn't about anyone. This doesn't even make sense, please stop making things up and leave him alone." 11. NYMPHOLOGY" is a song by Melanie Martinez that is featured as the eleventh track on her third studio album, PORTALS. The song is about the repression of femininity. Nymphs are mystical beings that are highly feminine, ranging from sirens to fairies. This song is a way of saying that change is something we as a society need, and we especially need a change in how we accept the feminine. These people who are demonizing her don't even take the time to understand who or what she is, but instead repress her for her feminine attributes, and because of the way she's being treated, she is treating the people repressing her with the same disrespect, spelling out the word "nymphology" 12. The overall message of the song seems to be about empowerment and standing up for oneself in the face of a toxic relationship. It can also be about ending a toxic and abusive relationship. She asserts their boundaries and refuses to be mistreated again. The song's title reflects Melanie's view of their former partner's actions as malicious and harmful. 13. In an interview with Apple Music, Melanie revealed the theme of the song: This song was written from the perspective of entering a new lifetime. The feeling of nerves and excitement that arise when you're about to forget everything you know about your true self as a soul in order to let your human experience on earth move your progression forward. -Melanie Martinez This song marks the true death of Cry Baby, as all the memories of her past life are erased to make room for her progress in her new life. I thought it was playing a very significant role in my life at that time. I wanted to express that feeling of moving through chaos with full of acceptance and confidence that you'll come out the other side stronger." - Melanie Martinez 3. "MILK OF THE SIREN" (originally titled "Sirens") is a song by Melanie Martinez featured as the sixteenth and final track on the deluxe edition of her third studio album, PORTALS. It makes metaphors of women of the past having to remember they do not need to worry about which abusive sailor they drown, sending an overall message that encourages self defense.
