  • I just have to say that one thing this movie has over the rest of the live action adaptations is that her voice is the PERFECT voice for Ariel. As someone that’s loved the original since I was a toddler, she’s the first live action Princess that’s genuinely given me goosebumps (that last high note at the end of the trailer went CRAZY)! I’m genuinely so excited and happy for her. This will be one of the first movies I’ll actually see in theaters since pre-pandemic.
  • They really should make an Ursula pre movie so we can see her and Tristan’s relationship because she is his sister and many people don’t know that.
  • @khalilsmalling5884
The Little Mermaid is all about the voice and Halle Bailey's is so beautiful and perfect.
  • @darkyouth2005
Don’t understand why people are like Sebastian’s too realistic! Boy he’s a crab he’s gonna look like that, if they do it cartoony people will complain like seriously?
  • Honestly Suraj lost me at “I’ve never seen the animated movie” of the Little Mermaid. Like bro what?? 🤦🏽‍♀️What’re you waiting for?? Get on that shit ASAP!!
  • @fingolfin897
So far Aladdin has been my favorite of the Live Action remakes (despite my favorite villain Jafar being nerfed so hard), but this one seems like it could take the number 1 spot!
  • @Jodipo
Look what to they did to my boy Sebastian!!!
  • @jennajacks7316
I really don’t care what any YouTube haters say about this movie I think it’s gonna be the biggest of the year let’s just be honest Haley Bailey is a superstar her voice is unmatched! She literally is Ariel she speaks Aerials language.
  • @Lola.185
They will be changing the story quite a bit, Ariel's sisters will be prominent
  • @NaNa-pn7cp
That last note gave me chills that I'll never forget
  • @KMAsahi79
Something that people talk about way to much while contradicting themselves is that “the underwater stuff looks to cartoony/not realistic enough” while also complaining about sebastian looking to real. Idk, that’s just what i gather from watching a bunch of reaction and comments under those videos

When Suraj said "OLD SCHOOL R&B music that was popular in the Early 2000s..." That statement just made me feel old AF 😅. You could have said in the late 90s to ease the pain a little bit 😂.
  • Watching for Halle!! She is such a musical talent, and has been for a while
  • @wickedbob66
My favorite Disney movie is BY FAR Treasure Planet... and I know they will probably never do that one live action.
  • BRUH IM CRYING AT YALL'S EXPLAINATION FOR BLACK MERMAIDS XDXD
  • How can a live action under the sea movie look “too real” ??? Is that not the whole point of making it live action…
  • @CaesiusX
Chis is right. Looooong before anyone else,¹ Disney held their films from release, save for a limited time. They'd release a set run, then you might have to wait ten years if you missed getting a particular film. ··•✺•·· ¹ ─ And even long before there was a Disney Channel.
