The story is about a little prince named Bojji who is deaf but above all naive, because despite many criticisms from his people about his accession to the throne, he does his best and dreams of becoming the greatest of kings.

When we learn step mom was healing him and trying to love him, that shit just broke my heart man. Too many evil stepmom tropes threw me off guard

I’m 2 minutes in and I’m already crying, poor Bojji he deserves better
  • I was stunned by the blood, gore and dismemberment. The story is excellently written; they are so many warm touching moments, like as if it's been written by emotions itself. I've never been so moved by an animated film and I haven't seen it yet.

Absolutely adored this anime and it was definitely underrated when it came out. Love the scene where Boji fights his dad. The animation for it was absolutely fantastic. WIT Studios definitely gave it the Levi vs Kenny Squad vibes.

everybody emotional about bojji but im crying about HOW THIS GUY IS SAYING THE NAMES

I'm sorry to nitpick here but you forget to mention in the first three minutes of the video that Bojji can read lips, that he understand that the kingdom mocks him, and that Kage was the first person to truly believe in him. It is one of the most important story points and you glossed over it. Edit, you get the pronunciation of nearly every name wrong and strait up lie about how Ouken got his immortality, him and his brothers kill their evil dad who was ruler of the underworld which makes Ouken inherit his father's power unwillingly which ultimately makes him lose his mind.

Crying sad tears then happy tears... So amazing to see Bojji's character grow throughout his journey. A great anime!

Love my late lil bro, even though he was better at everything than me he still looked up to me, he was too kind hearted for this world.

  • This anime is criminally underrated to say the least.. Such an amazing journey.. A lovable protagonist and his trusty friend... Overcoming the impossible odds . Wholesole
  • Thank you for covering this anime, it really deserves more attention, one of the best shows that uses darker themes tastefully / without being edgy.

You really have to watch this anime to understand the different characters and feelings of them. One of the best and also most emotional anime I've ever seen.

boy frightened by everyone in the village, turned out to be hokage
  • Finding someone who was called friend in the beautiful times it is easy, But finding someone who can cry together while sad or happy is hard.

Totally pity Boji, Everyone did belittle him and underestimates Boji. I mean do they even know that the Kingdom only exist because of Boji? they're really ungrateful.

Simple yet complicated Childish yet so masculine What a great writing
  • I found out about this anime it’s first day of release and love it actually and it’s one of the few animes I can comfortably listen to in sub yes sub users are gonna destroy me for saying that but due to the lack of talking I can take in the full experience visually which is in my favor since I’ve always been a visual learner
