Hey man, last year I was going through a really rough time with mental illness/drugs. I've seen some of your videos lately as I've been trying to get into cooking to be a more "responsible" adult with their ** together. You've helped me a lot through a difficult time period and helped me find a new passion in life even if I'm just beginning. Thank you John for being a shining light. You have a wonderful personality and wonderful recipes that are easy and fun to make.

Speaking of nostalgia, I learned to make fudge this way in the 7th grade. I went home with a friend one day after school and his mother had the milk and chocolate ready. The chocolate was a big hunk of semisweet cut from a massive bar at the grocery store. We made a big pan together, under close supervision of course. After homework and a fat BLT sandwich, we got to sample it. I am 75 years old and still make this occasionally.

For Canadians with different measurements: (1) 225g bar of unsweetened (1) 225g bar of semisweet (2) 300g can of sweetened condensed milk This is the ratio I use and it turns out perfect, just make sure the unsweetened chocolate is chopped finely

There is something oddly soothing about watching other people cooking and baking, especially in a beautiful kitchen. 😊

This is my FAVORITE fudge recipe! I’ve made it this way for years! 😁
-
I have made the fudge recipe for years. I used to be a school nurse in a high school and I would make this with my kiddos in special education. They would take it home as a gift for their families.

I love it when he says "ahh-mazing" it's pretty amazing.

I’ve made this fudge for years. I add a pinch of salt and a little vanilla to the basic fudge then make different variations. Heath toffee bits, almonds and mini marshmallows for rocky road, or, my personal favorite, melted caramel swirled with the chocolate as it is poured into the pan.

I've always made fudge this way, same ingredients as the quick fudge recipe from my old school better homes and gardens cookbook. It really is amazing!

John, you will now be causing a major issue in my family life. I anticipate on top of my seasonal cheesecake, which is demanded by family and friends. Your fudge will now be included in my holiday workload. So, with that said, thank you and I truly hope you and yours enjoy the season😊
