It might be the sour taste I have after BoBF and Kenobi, but Im really loving the show so far! The serious tone of the series, the brilliant writing so far has got me hooked! From a filmmaking aspect this show is so much higher quality. Even if Andor as a show is not everyone’s cup of tea I think we can all agree that the quality of the show should be translated to all of the future shows (if I see one more show use the Volume for an entire show one more time I will throw my subscription at disney 😂) Anyway, good on ya for sharing your thoughts in a calm and collected way🤘
  • The first two episodes were decent. We couldn’t have realistically expected them to be much more than they were. If anything, it makes more sense for the beginning episodes to be slow so as to set the stage for future plot points. If we went straight into having encounters with Imperials, then we wouldn’t be able to understand exactly what brought the main character to this point and we would be looking to big name characters like Saw Gerrera to come and shake things up, which would be a little too predictable and probably breaks the continuity between the two of them going into Rogue One. Not to mention, we would be expecting signs of the Rebellion coming into play too fast, too soon.
